96-year-old World War II veteran Raymond Schaefer didn't get to finish his high school career at Racine County School of Agriculture in Wisconsin because of his decision to serve in World War II.

After serving in the war, he worked in the Milwaukee equipment manufacturing business for almost 40 years, never finishing his high school education. But 77-years-later, he officially got to graduate from his high school.

Recently, he was surprised by the Waterford Union High School marching band, school board members, teachers and students, family and friends with a graduation. Schaefer finally got to receive his diploma as well as an honorary medal commemorating his time at Racine County School of Agriculture since its doors closed in 1959.
