Viral Hecklers Troll & Roast Idaho Steelhead Players (VIDEO)

One of the best parts about sporting events, without question, is the competitive fire the athletes bring into the game. We're talking about that fiery, spicy competitiveness that makes the arena or stadium feel like a gunpowder keg.

All it takes is one spark... and you're in for some explosive action.

There's Nothing Quite Like A Hockey Game

First off, if you've never been to an Idaho Steelheads game or any hockey game... drop what you're doing and schedule that now.

Hockey, especially, is one of the most unique sporting events you can go to and hockey has everything you can ask for. It's like they took all of the elements that make other sports great and rolled them up into one big snowball.

Outside of things like NASCAR, hockey has athletes moving at speeds unseen in other competitive sports. Then there's the goal of, well, scoring a goal.

Then you have some of our favorite parts about hockey, the cream filling of the Oreo if you will: the fights.

Now, let us be clear - no one wants to see anyone get seriously hurt or injured. That being said, who doesn't love a good hockey fight? The best part about a hockey fight is how you get to that point.

One of the primary reasons these guys get into it with one another is the trash talk. This can come from others on the ice or... people in the stands.

Things Got Explosive Between The Steelheads & The Tahoe Knight Monsters

About a week ago, our Idaho Steelheads faced off against the Tahoe Knight Monsters and there were some "internet celebrities" in the building sitting next to the penalty box for Idaho players.

A group of friends led by the internet personality, heckled the Steelheads players in the penalty box seemingly all night long.

The things they were saying were overall pretty harmless and ended with the group of friends yelling in unison: "YOU BUM!"

We have to admit, some of the jokes were pretty funny (and random), and the Steelheads seemingly fed off of it, even going as far as to take out some frustration on opposing players.

The Steelheads wound up losing the game 2-4.
