We have all experienced the weather change lately, with many people even turning on the heater within their homes. That also means that water irrigation will be shut off soon for areas around the Treasure Valley.

The City of Nampa posted the details last week that the City of Nampa irrigation shutoff will be on Friday, October 4th. For Nampa and Meridian residents the irrigation will be shut down on Monday, October 7th. The Boise and Kuna irrigation district will also be shut off on Monday, October 7th. And Pioneer irrigation district will be shut off on Friday, October 11th.

The Waterworks division reminds individuals and companies that the city valve should not be turned off when blowing out sprinkler lines. The keyed turnoff is for city emergency use only.
