Amazon in Nampa has 2,000 Jobs to Fill
It seems like the new Amazon building seen from I-84 in Nampa has taken forever to finally finish yet at the same time it feels like poof there it is. I think this year has messed with my sense of time. Any-who, that giant building, 650,000 square feet giant, is now finished and ready to fill with Amazon employees. This is going to be a huge boost to the local economy as 20,000 vacant local jobs are starting to open up and are ready to be taken on. The positions will range from part time and full time, filling needs for thousands of Treasure Valley residents. The website is being updated often.
According to Idaho News, Tim McIntosh the general manager of Amazon’s Nampa fulfillment center said, “We’re so grateful for the warm welcome Amazon has received here in the Treasure Valley. We are excited to offer great jobs with great wages starting at $15 per hour and comprehensive benefits that start on day one including full medical, vision, and dental insurance, matching 401(k), and up to 20 weeks of parental leave. We encourage all who are interested in joining our team to apply. This is an exciting time of year for us as we begin the holiday season. There is something for everyone and we look forward to welcoming new Amazonians to our state-of-the-art facility in the coming weeks.”
