Maybe it's just us, but we haven't heard a lot of talk about Boise's housing market as of late. We say that because, as you'll remember, the rising cost was a huge topic of discussion this past year.

Who's to blame for the rising prices?

At the time, many were upset at the correlation between rising housing prices and new people arriving in the Treasure Valley. You know what we're talking about, that dirty "T-word":

Transplant.

According to data from Redfin.com, Boise's peak average price of a home was $585,000 back in May of 2022. That seems to add to our memory of when all we were hearing from locals was the rising cost of living.

Now, here we are nearing the end of 2023 and things have definitely changed... for the better. Well, almost better... one of the cities on our list actually saw a hefty price increase.

Do you think we'll continue to see prices fall or will they bounce back up sooner than later?

Let's look at the data according to Redfin.com.

Is that the case with this Boise home?
