Barcelona Terrorist Attack Victim Has Boise Ties

Thursday's tragic terrorist attack has reached home. One of the victims has very close ties to Boise. 

13 people died after a van plowed through Las Ramblas Avenue in Barcelona yesterday and now we are learning that 42 year old Jared Tucker who died in the attack has some very close ties to Boise.

Tucker's sister and niece live here in Boise. Wendy and Carissa Steinburg are among several of Jared's relatives who live here in the Treasure Valley.

According to KTVB, Jared was in Barcelona celebrating his first wedding anniversary. His relatives say they were contacting Barcelona hospitals all night looking for him. His wife says they were separated when he went to the bathroom and she was looking at a kiosk so she didn't know if he was o.k. or not as the chaos ensued.
