Best Dessert in Boise

Have you ever tried an ice-cream potato? I experienced it for the first time and it was very different than I expected!

One of the first things I heard about when moving to Boise was the ice-cream potato. Say what?!!? An ice-cream potato? I thought it sounded disgusting when I first heard about it. I understand we're proud of our potatoes, but this concept sounded ridiculous.

So, I went to Westside Drive-In for the first time on Saturday and I had to try the ice-cream potato!

To my surprise, it is not a potato at all! It's ice-cream covered in cocoa-powder with whipped cream and chocolate. It was honestly one of the best desserts I've ever tried.

Conclusion: Don't be afraid of the ice-cream potato!!
