The actual plea has not come yet but everyone was baffled when 30-year-old Timmy Kinner pleaded "'Not Guilty' in the murder of three-year-old Ruya Kadir at her birthday party on June 30th along with the stabbing of eight others which include five children at the Wylie Street Station apartments in Boise, Idaho.  That plea is starting to make sense as attorneys seem to be setting Kinner up for an 'Insanity' plea.

According to KTVB, Kinner slipped a prison guard a note asking for a private meeting with the investigator on his case.  Defense attorneys quickly blocked that request stating that Kinner IS NOT mentally aware or capable enough to act on his own behalf without someone there to protect his own interest.  Their exact words were...

Kinner's mental health issues prevent him from being able to make a 'knowing and voluntary' decision to meet with police or prosecutors without his lawyers around

Judge Nancy Baskin has ordered a block on the detectives and prosecution from discussing anything or meeting with Kinner without his lawyers present.  Even if Kinner requests this.  The block is temporary and will continue or be extinguished after Kinner has been properly assessed by an independent mental health evaluator.

The judge on Kinner's case is not convinced he's mentally incapable of having any of these interviews or discussions.  Public consensus says most don't care.  There is such an outrage towards Kinner for his heinous crimes and the public is looking for him to get what he deserves.

Kinner is charged with one count of first-degree murder, eight counts of aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, burglary and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.  If he ends up guilty he'll most likely be looking at life in prison or the death penalty.
