100 year old Gaylord Heller is set to compete in the 27th Annual Idaho Senior Games!

He just turned 100 on July 31st and has been playing pool here in Boise since he moved to the Treasure Valley back in 1935. Surprisingly, the Senior Games will be the first pool tournament he's ever played in!

Gaylord's son, 76 year old Rod Heller, will be playing pool in the games as well, but unlike his Dad, he will playing with guys around his age. Gaylord will be playing with most guys being at least 15 years younger than him.

According to KTVB, Gaylord says he has no problem beating his son if he needs to.

The pool tournament for the Idaho Senior Games will be held Saturday, August 13th at The Pocket in Boise.

Good luck Gaylord!!
