I will never understand how someone could possibly do something like this. This man got caught up in a high-speed chase with police and during the pursuit, he pushed a woman out of his moving vehicle.

20-year-old Alex Ibarra was arrested in the early hours of this morning after officers attempted to pull him over near the intersection of North Ethel Drive and Port Street at about 1:40 a.m.

Ibarra refused to pull over and instead led officers on a high-speed chase reaching speeds of 65 mph as he blew through stop signs. According to an article on KTVB, the chase persisted through Nampa into Canyon County.

The most disturbing part of this chase is when Ibarra drove into a ditch and pushed a woman out of his moving car because apparently she had attempted to persuade Ibarra to stop the chase and when he wasn't having it he decided to get rid of her. No word yet on the extent of her injuries if any.

The chase finally came to stop when officers used a PIT maneuver, forcing the driver to abruptly move sideways in the area of Warren Spur Road. He has been booked into the Canyon County Jail on felony charges of eluding, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, probation violation, and leaving the scene of an accident.
