Boise’s New CWI Campus Means Less Parking Near The Greenbelt
The Boise Greenbelt is one of the best things about Boise because of its versatility. Stop and think for a sec about how much there is to do. You have 29 miles of scenic views where you can ride a bike, go for a fun, enjoy fun places including breweries, Zoo Boise, and multiple parks.
Plus, because of how big it is, you have several places along the Greenbelt as options for parking - "the world is your oyster," as they say!
Parking Near The Boise Greenbelt Is About To Change
If you regularly access the Greenbelt near Quinn's Pond, you'll want to set a reminder that the parking lot near Bernardine Quinn Riverside Park and the Boise River Greenbelt will no longer be available in a few weeks.
"The City of Boise has enjoyed the opportunity to share use of the parking lot adjacent to Bernardine Quinn Riverside Park and the Boise River Greenbelt thanks to a partnership with the College of Western Idaho (CWI)," Boise Parks and Rec shared in a Facebook post.

"However, due to the construction of the new Boise CWI campus, we have received notice that the lease agreement will end in mid-June and the area will be closed for development."
The new Boise CWI campus is currently in the process of moving to the corner of Main Street and Whitewater Boulevard near the Boise River, according to CWI's website.
"This new location is adjacent to a vibrant, downtown environment, providing opportunity for students to access high-quality, affordable education leading to employment," CWI says on its site.
CWI's Boise campus is expected to be completed by Fall 2027.
