FBI WARNING: Neo-Nazi Satanic Group Is Targeting Idaho Kids Online
Parents these days really have to be on their toes when it comes to keeping their kids safe, right? Seriously. Think about how many things in the world that can hurt or negatively impact your kids.
From social media challenges that can get your kid arrested or injured to distracted parking lot drivers, we have to be on our A-game.
Now, parents all over Idaho have to be aware of another threat targeting our kids.
The FBI Issues Warning About "Violent Online Network"
The FBI is warning parents about a "violent online network" known as "764" that is targeting young children across the country.
"These networks methodically target and exploit minors and other vulnerable individuals, and it is imperative the public be made aware of the risk and the warning signs exhibited by victims," the FBI said of the organization in a PSA.
"These networks use threats, blackmail, and manipulation to coerce or extort victims into producing, sharing, or live-streaming acts of self-harm, animal cruelty, sexually explicit acts, and/or suicide. The footage is then circulated among members of the network to continue to extort victims and exert control over them."

Several sources have also described the organization as Satanic based on certain warning signs in potential victims, like "writing in blood or what appears to be blood."
And speaking of those changes in behavior, the FBI says parents should be on the lookout for signs like withdrawal, changes in appearance, routine habits, and even eating or sleeping habits.
The FBI is reminding parents to also look for signs of harm and even self-harm, especially if your child is trying to hide it.
Who Is "764" Targeting?
The feds say that 764 looks for their victims on popular social media sites, gaming platforms, mobile apps, etc. 764's primary targets seem to be young, underage females, according to the FBI, but also targets juveniles, adults, both male and female.
Parents, make sure to talk to your kiddos, especially if they play games with other people on something like an iPad or gaming system.
