This is the time of year people start getting out, biking the greenbelt, jogging the hills, and hiking the trails.  After a long, dormant Winter people find all sorts of things but A DEAD BODY???  That's not something I want to come across.

I guess this isn't technically a body.  The body is long gone but human remains were found near a popular hiking trail in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho called Tubbs Hill.  Authorities obviously prioritize finding out who the remains belong to so the Coeur d'Alene Police Department sent the bones into experts to analyze.  Idaho News reported what the experts came back with and it's very interesting.

These bones are a minimum of 200 years old and could be as old as 1,000 years ago.  This categorizes these bones as "historical artifacts" and because they're so old, authorities have no records and no way of finding out who they belong to.  The experts say that it's also too difficult to know what the cause of death was.
