An Idaho Police Department Is Now Weaponizing Pumpkin Spice
Fall is here and for many of us, it's a festive time to enjoy cooler weather, events around time, and even pumpkin spice.
Some people love it, some people hate it, and one police department is "weaponizing" it.
Jerome Police Department Ups Their Social Media Game
If you want a good follow on social media, we highly recommend you give Jerome Police Department a follow. They have a string of hilarious posts, and whoever runs their Facebook account isn't shy with their sense of humor.
Just check out the work they put into changing the lyrics to a Spice Girls song to let people know about road work.
And speaking of "spice", you're going to love what they're doing with pumpkin spice.
All They Want Is A 5-Star Review
The Jerome Police Department is just looking for better reviews... at least that's what they shared on Facebook.
"We have a select category of 'customers' that, try as we might, we just can't get a 5-star review from," Jerome PD said in the post. "So, in order to give ourself a better chance at higher reviews, AND show that we care, we have decided to try something that #starbucks has been successful at for many years."
"Starting today, our officers will have the option of #pumpkinspice handcuffs, as well as #pumpkinspice OC Spray."
That's one way of earning a five-star review!
Now, it might be obvious that the Jerome Police Department is joking but we certainly hope not. Just look at these "pumpkin cuffs" and "pumpkin spice OC spray."
