Idaho’s EllieMae Eliminated on The Voice

Just yesterday we chatted with EllieMae Millenkamp about how excited she was about being on the TV show The Voice. Her incredible voice got Blake Shelton to turn his chair around during the blind audition rounds, which she said was a dream come true.

We speaking with her she told us that she had always wished to be on Team Blake, but if Blake didn't turn around she would have been happy to work with Kelly Clarkson as a mentor as well. Unfortunately, her time on The Voice was cut short as she was eliminated last night during the battle rounds.

So, what is up next for EllieMae now? Seeing as how she is just months away from finishing her Agricultural Business degree at Iowa State University, she will probably hitting the books. Although if you follow EllieMae on Facebook you're seeing lots of events popping up on her page so expect to hear and more of EllieMae in the near future.

Hopefully she auditions again next year and continues to build her singing career because she is so talented. It was fun to cheer on the 21-year old from Jerome, ID through the past few weeks.
