JUMP Has Been Taken Over By Emojis!

If you have recently driven into downtown from the connector and passed JUMP, you may have used your best Jerry Seinfeld voice to ask, "What's the deal with all of those emojis?" Seeing all of the inflatable smiley faces lit up made me curious enough to park and find out.

The exhibit is called "Giggling for Good!" and is a benefit for the Boise School District. It's a fun one to take your kids through because, in addition to all of the fun pictures that you can take, it's a completely free activity.

When you're there, you'll see a bunch of inflatable emojis and that they've dressed up all of their standard installations to be even more fun than usual. As you walk the grounds and look into the building through the windows, there are fun displays centered on homeschooling and quarantine life. There are family-friendly jokes on the JUMPotron video screen that will even make the corniest dad green with envy. As you check out their vintage tractor collection, you will even find tractor jokes. If you have a young comedian at home that wants to participate and tell a joke on the JUMPotron, have them record their video and sign the release form that you can find HERE.

So how does this benefit the Boise School District? They ask for donations for kids that need essential items such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, hats, gloves, coats, and other clothing. You can find the complete list and how to donate HERE.
