It sounds oddly familiar to "Goldie Locks and the Three Bears," but after a long chase with police, this man decided to take a nap in a little boy's bed in Meridian.

28-year-old Daniel William Leary of Rigby started getting into trouble yesterday at about 2:30 p.m. when he got in a crash on I-84 near the Locust Grove overpass. Obviously, Leary had something to hide, because he quickly fled the scene of the accident.

A police K9 was searching for Leary in a nearby neighborhood when a homeowner called the police to say he had found the wanted man asleep in his son's bed! Leary received a rude awakening when the K9 politely bit him on the left arm.

According to an article on eastidahonews.com he was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries related to the dog bite and the car crash.

He was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with unlawful entry, delaying and obstructing a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and a felony agent's warrant.
