Master Plan Presentation This Week at Nampa Airport
The meeting is set for this Thursday, October 10th, 2019 at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa to discuss the future plans for the airport and surrounding roads. According to KIVI, the event being put on by the City of Nampa will be two identical presentations taking place at 5:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m.
The presentation being given will give a complete look at the Nampa Airport Master Plan, which has been in the works for several months. The plan will also detail improvements being suggested to several intersections and roadways surrounding the airport.
Each year there are just short of 90,000 flights either beginning or ending at the Nampa Municipal Airport. The reasoning behind the presentation is to give community leaders information needed to plan for development.
Community members will be allowed to comment on both projects. The Airport Master Plans are expected to be finalized later in 2019. Being a Nampa citizen it is refreshing to hear that community leaders are working to make improvements as our city continues to grow.
