Patients left sitting on toilets, not getting enough to eat, and under staffing. These are just some of the complaints about one nursing home in Nampa.

There have been 3 complaints to the Department of Health and Welfare since June concerning the Holly Lane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

According to KTVB, the facility is still open, but the complaints are so bad that they can no longer accept new medicare and medicaid patients.

A 242 page report claims there were multiple issues of mistreatment at the nursing home that put several patients lives at risk.

Patients claim they have been left on toilet seats, unable to reach their call lights when they need the aid of a CNA; they claim they've been yelled at, and not given enough to eat or drink.

Holly Lane is allegedly working on a long-term plan to get the nursing home back in shape, but one of the big issues is the facility is under staffed.

Holly Lane is the only rehabilitation facility in the Treasure Valley with a ventilator unit, which means if patients can't go to Holly Lane they will have to be served in Coeur d'Alene.

The Health and Welfare Administration says all issues must be fixed by January of 2017. For more details on this story and direct quotes from those involved click HERE.
