It's a message we've all heard before, right?

"Drug-free is the way to be!"

While that is absolutely true, we have to admit - we were surprised by how drug-free Idaho really is.

Why Would Anyone Be Surprised At Idaho Being Drug-Free?!

Let's just call it for what it is - there's a state less than an hour from Boise where drugs are legal. Some would even say that legalization in Oregon has caused more drug problems than it has solutions.

So, how is it possible that Idaho is so drug-free despite Idahoans commuting between Oregon and Boise to get their fix?

Maybe the people who are into the hard stuff stay in Oregon? Maybe people in Oregon don't have any reason to go to Idaho? Or perhaps Idahoans aren't going to Oregon and back as much as people think?

Whatever the case may be, recent data revealed the most drug-free states in the country, and Idaho is being recognized as being one of the best drug-free states.

Again, this is somewhat interesting considering Oregon isn't anywhere close to ranking where Idaho does... yet they're so close.

As a matter of fact, when it comes to the drug-free ranking of states surrounding Idaho, Oregon is one of the top three worst.
