Are “Offensive” Halloween Decorations Illegal In Boise?
Halloween is right around the corner and no one decorates their homes quite like the people of the Treasure Valley - especially over on Harrison Boulevard.
Go Big Or Go Home
Like we said, people in Idaho go all out for annual holidays but what if someone goes "overboard" with their decorations? We don't necessarily mean people who have too many decorations either.
We all know someone like this. They might be huge fans of horror movies and go the extra distance when designing their decorations. There's nothing wrong with that either, it's actually pretty awesome.
But what if they take things too far and do too good of a job? To some of us, it's no big deal but what if your scene is too graphic?
The Consequences of Realism
The lines of reality are blurred every day in everything we consume. Social media, movies, shows, etc... they all in some way can desensitize us in some way, especially children.
Some might not mind while others might still want to protect their little ones from graphic content. We're not saying that's wrong or right either; you can parent how you want to - this is America, baby!
Today, we're looking at what you can and can't do if you're offended by your neighbor's Halloween decorations.
