Stabbing in Nampa Home Leads to Woman’s Arrest
23 year old Ashley Miranda Zuniga has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a Nampa man. Reportedly, the man was stabbed several times in his legs during a fight in a home in the 500 block of West Ustick Road in Nampa.
Canyon County Sheriff's Office Deputies were alerted about the stabbing when they were called to St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa at around 2:15 AM to investigate the incident after the victim had been brought to the hospital.
Police later arrested Zuniga after she had been spotted driving with another woman. That woman has been identified as 36 year old Jennifer Mari Scaramuzzi of Nampa. Both women were taken into custody. Zuniga was charged with the stabbing of course, and Scaramuzzi was arrested on two felony drug charges and a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia.
The victim was treated at the hospital and later released. Zuniga could face as much as 15 years in prison if convicted.
