Why is This Treasure Valley Gun Store Closing? We’ve Got a Couple Guesses

A lot of mystery surrounds this local go-to gun supplier's sudden closing, so we're forced to come up with our own theories.

Boise Gun Co. suddenly closed its doors and no one knows why. The store, located in Garden City, recently put up a "Closed Until Further Notice" sign on its doors. Any emails or calls or Facebook messages weren't returned. So what the heck is going on?

With all the controversy surrounding gun issues currently, one would think that gun sales would be at an all time high. That being said, why would a local gun supplier just up and close? We've got a couple of, we'll call them, 'educated' guesses:

The Owner Fell Down A Well

While this doesn't happen as much as it used to, people still fall down wells. We would be doing ourselves a disservice to think that the owner of a local gun shop is impervious to falling down a well.

The Owner Won The Lottery And Moved To A Private Island

Someone has to win it, right? And who wouldn't spend all that cash on their own private island. I certainly would.
