Let's all be real with ourselves for a second - this winter season in Boise has been WEAK. Sure, we have had some cool temperatures but we haven't had any serious snow...

...until this weekend.

Will Boise Get Another Snowmageddon Soon?

Some might argue that current conditions help create a perfect scenario for a Snowmageddon II.

We've even overheard local shoppers talking about preparing for the freezing temps in the aisles of the grocery stores this week. But... is there really going to be enough for another Snowmageddon in Boise?

Let's start by considering our conditions: we have quite a bit of leftover snow around the Treasure Valley and if it's not snow, there are "puddles" of ice throughout the area. Given that the low today (Wednesday, 2/12) is ranging between 9 and 11 degrees (BRR!), it's not crazy to think that the ground is primed for collecting snowfall.

That brings us to tomorrow (Thursday 2/13) and Valentine's Day (Friday 2/14).

As it stands, Weather.com's 10-day forecast for Boise calls for up to three inches of snow while one inch of snow is projected for Friday bringing the two-day total to a potential four inches.

Wait, That's Not Enough For A Snowmageddon Pt. II!

It's definitely not... but as we all know, the forecast can change at a moment's notice. We also know that snowfall totals can be greater than expected and given the current conditions... anything is possible, right?

At least it'll be sunny with clouds and a high of 38 by Saturday!
