We previously shared with you how people are pushing to pushing to have the funky plant legalized by 2026. The organization behind the push is Kind Idaho but it won't be easy.

In order to get the Devil's Lettuce on the ballot, Kind Idaho will have to collect around 70,000 signatures from supporters of legalization. While that might seem difficult, it's important to note that back in 2022, a poll was conducted that revealed 68% of respondents supported legalization.

Is Legalization A Good Idea In Idaho?

It's easy to see both sides of the coin on the subject of legalization. Some critics are reluctant to legalize based on how things went in Oregon, even if their drug laws were a little less strict.

Some even believe that addiction to the plant is a real concern while others believe marijuana is still a "gateway drug."
