Dead Body Behind Boise Store Identified

This morning we broke the news about a dead body found outside a Boise building on Fairview Avenue.  Authorities have made a positive identification on who it is.

He's been identified as 27-year-old Manuel Dean Allen Mejia of Southern California.  Mejia's body was discovered about 10 a.m. on Sunday behind Mor Furniture.  No word yet on how long the body has been there.  Also, the cause of death is still under investigation by the Ada County Coroner's Office.  They have released information saying Mejia did not die from any injuries sustained.  Toxicology reports will determine whether drugs or alcohol played a factor.

The Boise Police Department is conducting a thorough investigation but do not believe any foul play was involved.
