Dear Rick and Carly

Paul in Meridian needs your advice ladies! He's torn between his girlfriend and her 12 year old son. Here's the e-mail Paul sent us. 

Dear Rick and Carly, 

I have been dating Brenda for 6 months. She is a single mom and has a great 12 year old son. He and I have really bonded even though my relationship with Brenda has cooled. I contemplated ending the relationship, but then thought about how much I would miss 'Ryan.' Is my bond with him a reason to stay in the relationship with Brenda even if my feelings aren't strong?

Should I stay or go?
