Life can feel so overwhelming sometimes, it's difficult to know where to turn when you need help. Plus according to KIVI and the CDC, Idaho has the fifth highest suicide rate in the country.

Luckily, there is a new program getting started in Canyon county to help people who are struggling.

Citizens can now receive free counceling services at the Nampa Public Library thanks to the professionals at Terry Reilly Health Services. The new initiative "Be Well Nampa" is funded by a $91,943 from the National Network of Libraries of Medicine. Regardless of where the funding is coming from, this is such a tremendous resource for our community.

The goal is to help as many people as possible. It's so easy to feel trapped in negativity but those are the times that you truly need to reach out for help. I've heard so many friends lately say, "It's okay, to not be okay". And I believe that too.

It's just so powerful when you reach out for help, it's amazing how many people truly support us and want to see us be successful in all aspects of life. If you're interested in setting an appointment click here.
