This is absolutely terrifying. An Idaho teenager says he was taken from his home by three masked men.

It happened Sunday, about 7 p.m., in Nez Perce County, about 5 hours north of the Treasure Valley. According to the 17-year-old, he was kidnapped from outside his home off of Lolo Street.

He says two men with masks grabbed him out of nowhere, threw him in the back of a pick-up truck, and that a third masked man was inside the truck.

The teen told KTVB that after they drove around in the pick-up for about 30 minutes, the men pulled over, got out of the truck, and ran away.

The unidentified teen says he was then able to run away to safety himself to a nearby home in the McCormick Ridge area.

So far the suspects have not been caught. All police have to go off of is the teen's story and his description of the vehicle which he describes as a...

  • dark-colored crew cab
  • with a small lift
  • large tires
  • a loud exhaust
