His actions put Nampa on house arrest last night, but he's behind bars now facing charges of terrorism.

Grant Charles Stevenson is only 22-years-old but this morning he is sitting in the Canyon County Jail facing a felony charge of terrorism and a misdemeanor stalking charge.

The bomb threat was sent through social media at 4:44 p.m. yesterday for the area of 1700 Juniper Street near Nampa's Liberty Park. It also involved the threat of a possible chemical welfare agent.

Investigators were immediately on the case and asked the public living in the threat area to stay in their homes as they searched the area for any traces of explosives, conducted interviews, and eventually, they were able to zero in on Stevenson and gave the "all clear" around 11 o'clock last night.

According to KTVB a motive for the threat has not been released and it is unclear whether or not Stevenson had access to bomb-making materials.

A felony terrorism charge can carry a possible life sentence. Stevenson will make his first court appearance this afternoon.

We're so glad that everyone was safe at the end of this ordeal and we are so grateful for the law enforcement and detectives on this case who acted so quickly and effectively.
