Earlier this week I talked about Disc golf and how much fun we have as a family out and about playing and practicing. I shared a full list of local, public and free (some need a state parks pass) disc courses around the Treasure Valley. Check out the full list here.

Just a couple of days after that post I ended up playing the Eagle Island Disc Golf Course with my man Kris and some friends. I noticed areas that are marked off near the tee's. Come to find out there is a Disc Golf Tournament happening this weekend at Eagle Island.

It is called the Treasure Valley cup. This tournament has been going on since 2006, and is a solid 16 years and counting. Kris used to help run the tournaments in their early years. There is going to be 180 players from 8 states, including 90 professional disc golfers competing for thousands in cash.
