A man was found dead yesterday with several others sent to the hospital after breathing in Nitrogen.

It happened around 10:15 a.m. yesterday morning in Dietrich, Idaho. When officers arrived on the scene they found one man who was already deceased, and a can with gas inside that at the time no one could identify.

Eight other people also breathed in the gas and have been taken to area hospitals.

The situation was so severe that North Canyon Medical Center was placed on lockdown and they said they were not receiving new patients until the situation is cleared.

According to KTVB, testing should be completed on the water today or tomorrow. As for now, residents are being told not to drink the water.

This is the second time Hazmat has been involved in a case here in Idaho. Last week a man in Emmett was sent to the hospital after breathing in pool cleaner.
