Roads are slick and wet and unfortunately a crash in Caldwell has sent several people to the hospital.

It happened last night at the intersection of Homedale and Farmway Road.

According to KTVB the accident happened when a driver failed to stop at a stop sign while heading east on Homedale in their 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse. That decision caused a collision with a 2015 Ford Fiesta headed northbound on Farmway Road.

So far we don't know the names of the victims involved or their current medical conditions but this accident was bad enough that the intersection was blocked off for three hours.

Both cars landed in a field. Those in the Mitsubishi were taken to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell. Those in the Ford were taken to Saint Alphonsus in Boise.

The roads are very slick this morning, not sure if that played a role in last night's crash or not, but please be careful and keep these people in your thought's and prayers.
