Toys For Tots Benefit and Auction in Boise
The Toys for Tots program is to collect and distribute new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. To assist in raising more money for toys and to collect as many toys as possible we are working with The Buffalo Club, High Desert Harley Davidson and the local chapter of the Toys for Tots program to host a benefit concert and auction on Saturday, November 30th at The Buffalo Club beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Most people don't understand how big the need is here in the Treasure Valley, but last year alone 13,451 kids got toys because of this program. A total of 43,195 toys were distributed in 2018.
The Buffalo Club is located at 10206 Fairview Avenue in Boise, and playing the concert will be the Godfrey Paul Band. There will be a $5 cover with that money being donated to the Toys for Tots program.
Bring some cash as there will be a big 50/50 raffle the pot is already over $450 and last year it got all the way up to $1,200.
You're encourage to bring down a new and unwrapped toy to donate on the night of the concert and auction. If you want to donate early, their are Toys for Tots donation boxes currently located at High Desert Harley Davidson and Quinn's Restaurant and Lounge on Vista Avenue in Boise. You can also make toy donations at any Albertsons location around the Treasure Valley.
If you want to make a monetary donation, you can support the Toys for Tots program here locally by clicking here.
There will be lots of auction items up to bid on including:
- A Fireball acoustic guitar
- A Southern Comfort corn hole game
- Various beautiful art canvases
- Night Stay at The Grove Hotel in Boise with Steelheads Tickets
- Various baskets donated from local merchants
Last year more the $5,000 was raised at the concert and auction and this year we hope to raise even more. It's all about providing for kids at Christmas time who would otherwise go without. SO please, join us and lets support these kids together as a community.
