One Of Boise’s Most Popular Restaurants Rallies For California
One of the best things about the Treasure Valley community is how we look out for one another. If there's an unidentified suspect wreaking havoc on the community, there's a solid chance the community will identify that suspect. If it's supporting others during a time of need, again, our community will rise to the occasion.
How To Help With The California Fires
It's one thing to donate money via Venmo or GoFund Me and then it's an entirely different story to gather the physical necessities people will need immediately.
Don't get us wrong - we're not dogging on people who choose to help those in need with monetary donations; as we all know, every little bit helps and the people of California need it. But, we'd imagine if you bring actual supplies to those in need, they can instantly benefit as opposed to waiting for fundraising money to be sent to them or spent on essential supplies.
The folks over at Sid's Garage decided to call upon the community to help them lend a helping hand to those affected by the California fires.
"The best thing about this community is we always lend a helping hand," Will Primavera, owner of Sid's Garage said in a video posted to social media.
"As a company, we have an ecosystem of just paying it forward to anybody and everybody we can that needs it."
Primavera went on to show off a truck they were hoping to fill so they could fill a second one with essentials to give to those in need in California.
Fast-forward to now... did they accomplish their goal?

"We're going to take this big old moving truck, hopefully two, and then we're going to drive it down to LA County."
Afterward, Primavera says he and his team will then prepare meals for those in need in LA County. Shout to the Treasure Valley for stepping up and kudos to the team at Sid's Garage for putting it all together!
