Idaho County Deputy Fired and Arrested on Multiple Sex Charges

We hold these people up to a higher standard than most, so it's particularly disturbing when an arrest like this is made. 

Nick Harris, an Idaho County Deputy since 2016 was fired and arrested on Friday on two counts of lewd conduct with a minor and one count of sexual abuse of a minor.

According to an article on KTVB, Harris was arrested in California, he had been put on administrative leave last month.

No word on the specifics of these underage sex charges. We don't know if they occurred in California or here in Idaho and we don't know if his being placed on administrative leave had anything to do with the charges that came forth.

Nick Harris is currently behind bars on a $100,000 bond. We'll keep you updated as this story develops.
