O.k., I get it if you are a hunter, but there is a time and a place for it. A hunter shot and killed a deer in this popular Idaho park leaving people disturbed, traumatized, and scared for their own lives.

It happened in at Tubbs Park in Coeur d'Alene and residents are starting to fear for their own lives after discovering deer guts in the park.

According to idahonews.com, the deer was poached by a resident with a bow and arrow and the man said he was unaware that it was illegal to do so. The hunter has been warned but was not cited.

Residents say that many people go walking through and around the park and they don't want to fear being shot while going out for a stroll. They also point out that this is not the first time a deer has been killed in the park.

Just so you know, it is indeed against the law to hunt within city limits, regardless of how you do it.

This is a fear I never really thought of, although seeing deer in and around the Treasure Valley and all over Idaho is very common. It probably goes without saying, but just make sure that if you are going hunting that you follow the law and don't put others at risk.
