They don't call it the "100 Deadliest Days" of summer for no reason. We've had several deadly accidents in Idaho lately and now a motorcyclist has been killed in Boise.

The crash happened about 8 o'clock last night near Warm Springs Avenue and Starcrest Drive according to the Idaho Statesman.

It's still a little unclear exactly what happened, but they are thinking the motorcyclist crossed the center line for some unknown reason. He collided head on with a pickup truck and later died at the hospital.

The driver of the pickup was wearing a seat belt and walked away uninjured. The motorcyclist was also wearing a helmet, but it wasn't enough to save him.

The identity of the man killed has not been released, but our thoughts and prayers will be with the family affected.

Please be extra careful on the roads. Buckle up, pay attention, and don't drive drowsy or of course intoxicated. We don't want this deadly streak to continue. An accident was also blocking I-84 near Stagestop this afternoon, and we don't know if there are any fatalities from that accident.
