WIN Pepsi’s NEW Apple Pie Flavored Soda

Are you someone who likes strange flavor combos? Not that long ago I did a post on all of the weird Kit Kat flavors, I had no idea how many strange concoctions  the candy company had come out with until my sister moved to Japan for the Navy and started sending me them. If you missed it, check it out here, you will be delighted and disgusted by some of theses KIT KAT flavors.

Now Pepsi wants in on the strange game. To be honest they have a pretty impressive and extensive list of flavor creations from around the world as well. Wikipedia has a full global breakdown that you can check out here but some notable ones are: Pepsi Kona, Pepsi Tropical Chill, Pepsi Blue, Holiday Pepsi Spice, Pepsi Fresh, Pepsi Ginger, Pepsi Mango, Pepsi Fire, Pepsi Ice Cream, the list goes on and on.

Now Pepsi has decided Apple Pie should be drinkable with hints of cinnamon and apple to mimic the taste. The unfortunate thing is this is a limited release thing and not going to be available to buy in stores. Instead you have to win it from Pepsi. They recently announced they will pick 1,500 winners, each receiving 2 liter bottles of the new apple pie flavored soda. Its called the #PepsiApplePieChallenge sweepstakes. Fans enter to win by submitting a photo or video of a "baking fail."

"Failing at baking -- especially this year -- is nothing to be ashamed of, and we're celebrating those amateur bakers that are truly trying their best during a unique holiday season." said Todd Kaplan, vice president of marketing at Pepsi, in the announcement. "With Pepsi Apple Pie, we're providing a refreshingly delicious twist on the traditional slice of apple pie, while making sure people have some fun and don't take themselves too seriously in the process."
